Job Summary
Job Description Junior Accountant
Key Responsibilities
- Support general ledger accounting activities including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor open items
- Support monthly quarterly and year-end close activities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and internal documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
- Collaborating with cross-functional and international Finance teams
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of basic internal controls and accounting process
- Authorization to work in the US
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field
- Up to 2 years of accounting experience preferably in a corporate or multinational environment
- Basic knowledge of US GAAP principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems considered a plus
- Prior experience in a multinational or shared services environment
- Italian language skills considered a plus
