Job Summary

Job Title: Field Application Engineer SSM infotech Solutions Surat

Job Profile / Description

Mission Statement: Work for delivery of project including solution development / programming / configuration / documentation under guidance of Project Manager / Technical manager. Visits customer site for Installation / Commissioning / Handover of project to customer.

Main Accountabilities

Project Execution.

Application development on X-Force PLC or SCADA platform as per guidance of Lead Engineer / Technical Manager / Project Manager. If required supervision of panel manufacturing hardware configuration.
Prepare setup for Internal FAT/Customer FAT.
Deployment of solution (hardware/software) at customer site testing and commissioning of program as an individual or within team.
Providing support to customer as an when assigned under guidance of Lead engineer / Technical Manager.
Customer Interaction for technical deliverables (TM and PM should always be in loop)
No. of Direct reports: 0
No. of Indirect reports: 0 (functional points)

Subject Matter Expert.
Engineering Manager

Documentation

Preparing project documentation as per requirement i.e. GA Drawing Wiring Drawing FAT/SAT procedure Manuals etc. Updating document
Maintaining Project Backup as designated locations.
Create SOP/Technotes on troubleshooting/maintenance guidelines site specific configurations. Follow CMMI process for each project.

Compliance Reporting & Training

Adherence to Reporting process in Timesheet Meeting requirements of Work maintaining discipline at workplace and customer site Maintaining Integrity & confidentiality
Daily reporting of on-site/Off-site project activity to Lead Engineer /PM/TM.
Self-Training (Function/Cross Functional) to be Targeted and Achieved (Online/Offline Certifications)
Learning new technologies in the dynamic environment.

Knowledge Skills and Experience

Degree in Engineering or Technology
2-4 years of experience in the industry.
Strong Knowledge of Basic Engineering.
Good communication skills.
Ability to travel.
Basic Knowledge of PLC and SCADA.
Personal characteristics:
Results oriented; Positive; Self-starter and proactive takes ownership.
Establishes good working relationships Good cultural understanding.
Analytical Thinking.
