Context

Systra is hiring for a Configuration Lead reporting to Systems Engineering Manager for a Rail Project in Ontario.

Missions/Main Duties

Establish and manage the configuration management framework for Integration & Assurance;
define baselines for requirements designs and key configuration items;
administer change control boards including recording assessing and tracking changes;
ensure configuration status accounting is maintained and transparent;
coordinate with CDE design and requirements teams to keep configuration data aligned and auditable.

Profile/Skills

University degree in Engineering Information Management or related discipline; 8 years experience in configuration management on complex engineering projects (preferably rail / transit);
Relevant professional designation or training in configuration management (e.g. CMII or equivalent);
considered an asset
proven experience setting up and operating configuration control processes baselines and change management;
familiarity with CDEs requirements and design tools and their interactions;
strong documentation and coordination skills.
