National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) the nations oldest and largest national parks nonprofit advocate has an exciting opportunity for West Virginia Wildlife Fellow.
NPCAs West Virginia Field Officeseeksan individual passionate about environmental conservationwildlifeandhistoric preservation to supportprogrammaticefforts focused on protecting national parks. This is a part-time remote/hybrid opportunity (20 hours per week) with a flexible schedule.
The right candidate will be able toassistin planning and executing in-person and virtual events andmeetingsin West Virginia as well asable to workvirtually onresearch projects.
This position willassistwitheffortsto support the West Virginia programmaticwork and responsible for researchas well as on-the-ground event support during in-personroundtablesworkshopsand events.
Location:Remote/Hybrid basedinCharlestonWest Virginiaor surrounding area
Schedule:Part-time;up to20hours per week
Compensation:$18-26per hour
Tangible deliverables that will be achieved:
Assistinprojects from start to finish including planning and organizing collaborating with stakeholders and partners.
Researchand develop supporting materials related toissuesimpactingrelatedprogram work in West Virginia.
Participate inoutreach and communication efforts including on-site events andvirtual meetings.

Current or recent college graduate (within one year of graduation)
Excellentverbalwrittenandinterpersonalcommunication skills
Works independently and as part of a team on projects assigned
Demonstrates effective research capabilities
Presents material whenappropriate.
Can cite orsubmitsamples of related work
