Options For All Inc. seeks a Senior Financial Analyst in San Diego CA.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Act as a strategic partner to the Controller/CFO by utilizing planning and forecasting insights to identify long-term growth opportunities support strategic initiatives and inform high-level decision-making.
- Lead the development and execution of long-range financial plans annual budgets and quarterly forecasts across departments and business units.
- Analyze and interpret complex financial and operational data to identify trends risks and opportunities.
- Drive monthly reporting processes including variance analysis against budget and forecast and communicate findings to senior & executive leadership.
- Prepare executive board-level and external stakeholder presentations.
- Own and enhance financial models for scenario planning program expansion cost optimization and investment evaluations. Support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives through financial analysis and modeling.
- Act as financial business partner to department leaders assisting in budget ownership and accountability. Lead or support implementation and optimization of financial planning software tools and dashboards.
- Mentor junior financial analysts and provide guidance on data analysis best practices. Collaborate with accounting to support accurate monthly close processes and ensure alignment of actuals to forecast.
- Manage ad hoc projects and strategic financial requests from the Executive Team.
- Ensure the integrity of financial data and participate in internal control process improvements.
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation as needed.
- Analyze and summarize key financial and operational KPIs and present actionable insights in a visually compelling manner.
QualificationsESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Masters degree or foreign academic equivalent in Finance Economics International Business or related field
Experience
- 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in financial planning and analysis at a nonprofit organization.
- Must have experience with:
- Financial grants reporting and non profit finance
- Financial reporting tools and data visualization- Power BI Tableau or Google Looker Studio
- GAAP budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
- Building and maintaining complex financial models
- FP&A tools such as NetSuite Vena or Adaptive Insights.
