We are seeking a highly skilled and business-oriented Legal Counsel to join our Global Legal Assets & Brands team within a leading international pharmaceutical company.

In this strategic role you will manage the full contract lifecycle and provide high-level legal support to global business teams across R&D Medical Affairs Regulatory Affairs Patient Safety Procurement and Portfolio Strategy. You will play a critical role in safeguarding operations ensuring compliance and enabling business growth worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end contract management: draft review negotiate and execute a broad range of agreements (consulting service and master services agreements development manufacturing and supply agreements clinical and commercial).
• Act as the primary legal contact for contract lifecycle oversight and governance.
• Provide strategic legal advice in contract law pharmaceutical law commercial law competition law and data privacy.
• Protect the companys interests by identifying mitigating and managing legal risks while enabling business opportunities.
• Support global and transversal projects including Patient Affairs initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws regulations industry standards and corporate policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives develop and maintain contract templates and deliver internal legal training.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Legal teams (Centre of Excellence IP Data Privacy Ethics & Compliance Risk & Insurance) as well as Finance Procurement Quality and Regulatory functions.
• Monitor regulatory developments in the healthcare sector and integrate learnings into internal policies and guidance.

Profile

• Qualified lawyer with 4 years PQE in commercial and contract law ideally within pharmaceuticals life sciences or healthcare.
• Proven expertise in complex contract drafting and negotiation.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory and commercial landscape of the life sciences industry.
• Solid knowledge of anti-bribery competition law and data protection frameworks.
• Business-minded proactive and solution-oriented.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills in a global matrix environment.
• High level of integrity and sound judgment.
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
