Job Skills / Requirements
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Janitorial Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial floor care including stripping waxing buffing and carpet cleaning. This role requires attention to detail knowledge of floor care equipment and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform floor care services including stripping waxing sealing buffing burnishing and polishing
- Clean and maintain various flooring types (VCT tile concrete hardwood carpet etc.)
- Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers burnishers buffers and extractors
- Perform carpet cleaning and spot removal
- Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines
- Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs
- Ensure assigned areas meet cleanliness and safety standards
- Work independently or as part of a team
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in commercial floor care
- Knowledge of proper floor care techniques and chemical usage
- Experience operating professional floor equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to pass background check (if required)
This job reports to the Manager/Supervisor
