About The Position
The PEOPLE Commerce team is seeking a Senior Editor to edit our shopping content which covers the latest celebrity trends must-have products and major shopping events such as Black Friday and Prime Day.
In this role the Senior Editor will manage team members oversee daily editing on tight deadlines and play a key role in shaping strategy by analyzing performance data and applying insights. The editor will also use a range of editorial and commerce tools to help grow the business and evolve our content approach. This role will report into our Associate Editorial Director.

Our Shopping team brings that same authority to commerce coverage combining in-house expertise with insights from a wide network of trusted professionals including fashion stylists makeup artists professional organizers and other industry experts to help guide our product recommendations.

The Roles Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelors Degree
Experience:
5 years of writing and editing shopping content
Prior managerial experience
Possesses a deep understanding of editing for an online audience news judgment commerce SEO and content management systems.
Experience covering major shopping holidays

Salary: New York: $77000.00 - $92000.00The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location experience and performance.
