Job Summary

Job Title: SSIS/SQL Developer Senior

Duration (Contract): 12 Months

Client Location: Austin TX

Location Preference: Onsite

Job Description:
As a Senior SSIS/SQL Developer you will design enhance and support business critical SQL Server batch processing solutions using SSIS. You will work as an individual contributor with immediate delivery expectations focusing on reliable data pipelines scheduled job execution performance optimization and rapid troubleshooting to ensure stable production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop enhance and support SSIS based SQL batch jobs.
Build and maintain ETL and data movement pipelines.
Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and reliability.
Monitor and support scheduled batch execution in production environments.
Perform root cause analysis for batch failures and data issues.
Document SSIS packages batch logic and data flows.
Collaborate with QA production support and engineering teams to resolve issues.
Implement fixes and enhancements with minimal disruption to operations.

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

5 years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands on experience developing and supporting SSIS packages.
Advanced SQL Server expertise including complex queries stored procedures and performance tuning.
Experience building and supporting SQL based batch and scheduled jobs.
Working knowledge /C# used in backend or batch workflows.
Proven experience troubleshooting batch processing and data quality issues.
Experience supporting automated jobs in production environments.
Ability to document technical solutions clearly and accurately.
Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $70.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
