Job Summary/Description:
WDTV is looking for a full-time lifestyle & entertainment producer. The ideal candidate will be able to work with our hosts to make our First at 4 lifestyle & entertainment talk show unique & memorable by preparing & organizing the available content. We want someone who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment. This person must be an excellent writer possess strong leadership & organizational skills and be able to perform well under pressure. The ideal candidate must be a team player.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Must be able to manage the shows broadcast coordinate with the production team & oversee the rundown of the show.
- Work with the host to decide on what stories to produce for the show.
- Appear on-air during some of the shows segments such as Baloney or Believe It and Word on the Street
- Contribute story ideas & content on a daily basis.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- To be successful in this position you must have a high level of production knowledge & experience.
- Extreme attention to detail & solid entertainment knowledge are a must.
- They must understand the importance of writing crisp teasers to promote upcoming segments & stories as well as create electronic graphics in a professional and timely manner.
