About the role
Sectra is looking for a Cloud Systems Administrator II to take a hands-on role in operating maintaining and improving our Microsoft Azure-based SaaS platforms. This role is suited for experienced systems administrators or cloud operations engineers who are comfortable owning production environments and driving operational improvements.
This is an IT and cloud operations role focused on stability security and continuous improvement.
What youll do
- Own operational support of Azure-hosted SaaS environments
- Administer Windows and Linux systems in production healthcare environments
- Drive system reliability performance and availability improvements
- Plan and execute OS application and third-party upgrades
- Manage monitoring alerting and incident response workflows
- Implement and maintain backup restore and resiliency strategies
- Support hybrid connectivity between Azure on-prem and customer networks
- Maintain and audit security configurations across subscriptions and systems
- Support security audits compliance activities and vulnerability remediation
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency
- Act as an escalation point and technical mentor for junior team members
- Additional duties as assigned
- Travel as required (up to 25%)
