We are looking for a Service Manager for our Ford franchise. This position is open due to an upcoming retirement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage service department processes and personnel
- Utilize and update Reynolds and Reynolds to manage and monitor shop scheduling workflow and productivity.
- Manage productivity of technicians to ensurebillable hours and workflow are appropriate
- Utilize TSD Loaner Software manage fleet of service loaner vehicles.
- Manage internal repair orders to turn used vehicles and retired loaners over to showroom quickly
- Provide some direction to ServiceBDC and Marketing Teams to maximize service sales opportunities retention and attract new customers
- Manageprocessing of warranty repair ordersand claims
- Managelot attendants
- Contact customers directly if a complaint is made in attempt to resolve
- Interact with external vendors (ie Hunter etc)
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST have strong computer skills. Must be able to use several software programs to manage the shop on a daily basis.
- Previous experience as a Service Manager at a dealership
- Ford experience strongly with preferred
- Experience managing a union shop is preferred
- Previous experience as a technician is a plus
- Experience with warranty is preferred
- Experience with Reynolds is preferred
- Experience with Hunter alignment machines is preferred
- Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the workday
- Outgoing with a friendly personality
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to deal with customers employees and vendors
- Experience implementing structured business processes
- Strong track record of top CSI and online reputation ratings
- Must be willing to submit to a background check
- MUSThave valid drivers license and clean driving record
