Role responsibilities
Project Delivery
Lead delivery of autonomous vehicle deployment programs across multiple U.S. logistics and operational sites ensuring successful execution against scope schedule budget and performance targets.
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering Product Management and Operations teams to define project scope technical requirements milestones and deliverables.
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including schedules resource allocation budgets risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Translate complex technical progress risks and constraints into clear business insights for senior leadership customers and external stakeholders; conversely convert customer and business needs into actionable technical requirements.
Coordinate site readiness and operational support including IT/network infrastructure facilities setup and enablement of on-site personnel (e.g. safety drivers and support staff).
Lead regular customer engagements including program reviews solution design discussions and status updates; proactively manage stakeholder expectations and adapt plans to evolving requirements or unforeseen challenges.
Oversee procurement inventory management and technical support for deployment hardware and system components.
Maintain flexibility to support U.S.-based projects across time zones as required.
Technical Support
Provide technical leadership and hands-on support during deployment activities to ensure timely issue resolution and operational continuity.
Define and expand regression test coverage by identifying critical use cases and establishing clear behavioral specifications.
Ensure deployments meet rigorous standards for safety performance reliability and regulatory compliance with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Stay current with advancements in autonomous vehicles robotics and related technologies to continuously improve deployment effectiveness and system robustness.
Required experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering Robotics Computer Science or a related technical field.
5 to 10 years of experience managing technical projects in the robotics automotive or autonomous vehicle sectors.
Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of complex hardware-software systems.
Strong understanding of autonomous systems robotics and vehicle integration.
oExceptional project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
Bonus Experience
Experience in management of production software releases for a customer
Strong proficiency in Jira Zephyr and the Atlassian suite of tools.
Extensive experience with Git Linux and Docker environments.
Familiarity with robotics middleware such as ROS/ROS2
Proficiency in programming languages like C and Python and good OOP coding practice in a Linux environment
Experience with logistics or supply chain technologies.
