Job Description
Reporting to the Manager Accounting the Accounting Intern will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing technical accounting skills as part of a leading Sports & Entertainment Company by assisting and coordinating a variety of core functions at MLSE such as ticketing global partnerships and live events and developing communication skills by liaising with other finance team members and cross-functional business units.

Responsibilities:
Assistin journalizing daily cash depository receipts (CDRs).
Assistin analyzing contracts inSalesforcemonth-over-month.
Assistin journalizing credit card chargebacks.
Assistin journalizing live event suite settlements.
Reconciling balance sheet accounts.
Assistin journalizing Ticketmaster advances.
Assist in journalizing daily merch sales activity
Participate in special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
You are working towards the completion of an undergraduate degree and the pre-requisites for entry into the CPA Professional Education Program. You also have the intention to pursue a CPA designation.
You have strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze and interpret data.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Excel PowerPoint and Word) candidates withdemonstratedskill at Excel (performing VLOOKUPs pivot tables and other data cleaning abilities) are considered an asset.
Youdemonstrateinitiative and can work independently and as part of a team.
You have strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
You canestablishand maintain effective working relationships with other departments.
Youpossessoutstandingorganizationskills with the ability to independentlymanage your time and organize multiple work activities and inputs.
You love learning and constantly applying new skills to unfamiliar tasks.
Available for regular weekday shifts during normal business hours.
