As a Senior Document Controller you will be responsible for managing project documentation ensuring its efficient processing accurate distribution secure storage and timely retrieval to support the delivery of construction-ready engineering documents.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the processing distribution retrieval and storage of project documents ensuring proper document revision control and formatting
- Establish and improve document control processes workflows and quality procedures to meet industry standards
- Conduct audits identify opportunities for improvements and drive exceptional results
- Liaise with project teams clients and subcontractors to facilitate the smooth exchange of documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that documentation meets quality and compliance standards
- Conduct regular audits of document control processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain reports on document status including pending approvals outstanding documents and compliance metrics.
- Present document control metrics and performance reports to project management as needed.
Qualifications :
- Prior experience in a document control role in civil or commercial construction or an engineering-related industry.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the principles for management of version-controlled documents.
- Prior use of a document management system (InEight TeamBinder)
- Strong understanding of engineering and construction documentation including drawings specifications and contracts.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
