Job Summary

Were hiring a Solutions Engineering Manager to lead our Small Business (SB) PreSales motion in ANZ. This role is for someone who enjoys developing people thinking in systems and shaping how high-velocity modern selling works - including how we leverage AI enablement and scalable engagement models.

Your Impact

Lead a team of 6 Solutions Engineers and Associate Solutions Engineers supporting HubSpots Small Business customers across ANZ
Drive scale consistency and quality in the PreSales motion ensuring meaningful impact while remaining efficient and repeatable
Partner closely with Sales Leadership and cross-functional teams to shape how Solutions Engineering supports the Small Business segment
Build and run a structured repeatable onboarding and enablement program for Associate Solutions Engineers
Improve customer outcomes close rates and deal velocity through strong partnership with Sales
Translate strategy into action through thoughtful planning prioritisation and follow-through
Use data to guide decisions identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement
Build trust and influence across Sales and cross-functional partners

Who You Are

Have experience in Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering within a SaaS company
Have coached enabled or supported technical sellers or customer-facing teams
Lead with curiosity empathy and a willingness to keep learning
Think in systems and enjoy improving how work gets done in fast-moving environments
Care deeply about developing people while delivering strong results
Bring strong analytical and technical skills using data to spot trends and guide decisions
Can zoom into deal-level problem-solving and zoom out to overall team health
Communicate clearly listen well and build trust across teams
Take ownership follow through and hold yourself and others accountable

We welcome experienced people leaders as well as first-time managers who are already operating at a leadership level. This includes candidates who have:

Owned and delivered complex team-level initiatives (enablement process tooling or motion design)
Led change and driven adoption across peers without formal authority
Demonstrated a strong bias for action follow-through and measurable impact

This role is best suited for leaders who are ready to execute immediately - whether youve previously managed teams or are stepping into your first formal people leadership role after already operating at that level.
