Culinary Warehouse Specialist (Food Service) Location: TSMC-Phoenix AZ 85083
Compensation: $18-$22 per hour Full-Time
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 7am to 3:30pm; or Monday-Friday 7am to 3:30pm.
Job Summary
Help keep our food service operations running smoothly! As the Culinary Warehouse Specialist youll play a key role in receiving organizing and distributing food and supplies that support the overall operation of the kitchen. What Youll Do
- Receive and inspect incoming food and supply shipments verifying accuracy and condition
- Record inventory transactions in the warehouse system including receiving stocking and shipping
- Store items properly following temperature rotation and sanitation guidelines
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Assemble and package orders for delivery or pickup
- Keep storage areas clean organized and safe
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts
- Follow safety protocols through proper storage of meats and vegetables
- Other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of inventory procedures (receiving stocking shipping)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
- Flexibility including a willingness to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
- Commitment to safety cleanliness and food handling standards
- ServSafe or State Food Handler Card required
Physical and Sensory Requirements
- This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes airborne particles and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods lift trays and perform repetitive tasks. Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions extreme temperatures and vibration may occur. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
