What youll do
Support the Chief of Staff with day-to-day program operations and internal communication across the football department.
Assist in planning coordinating and executing all aspects of team travel including transportation lodging meals itineraries and on-site logistics.
Maintain and update team schedules calendars and Teamworks data for student-athletes coaches and staff.
Serve as a liaison between the football program and departmental partners including the academic services office and compliance staff.
Coordinate and help execute program events.
Assist with official and unofficial recruiting visits ensuring a smooth and professional experience for prospective student-athletes and their families.
Provide onboarding and transition support for incoming student-athletes.
Contribute to a and enhance a competitive student-athlete experience.
Foster an environment that supports the well-being academic success and personal development of student-athletes.
Responsible for adhering to the rules and regulations of the department University Big 12 Conference andNCAA.
Ideal candidates will have a career interest in football operations or administration rather than coaching. Possess strong organizational time management decision making problem solving and communication skills. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body and position works non-traditional hours including evenings weekends and travel with the team.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree.
Directly related experience in athletics administration or administrative support or sports operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience providing administrative or operational support for an FBS football program.
Experience working with Teamworks.
Experience coordinating athletics special events.
