Job Overview
The Assistant Credit Manager will provide financial administrative and clerical services. The duties to include processing of credit applications assisting in credit collections for our dealer accounts and other special projects.
Highlights of your role
- Process new customer applications with credit limits subject to leaderships final approval.
- Evaluate and monitor existing customer accounts to include performing periodic written financial reviews of high volume and high-risk customers to monitor and minimize risk.
- Assist in collection of outstanding balances and handle escalations with customers and/or sales reps as needed.
- Manage team responsible for facilitating payment of outstanding receivables; support team with account adjustments write offs reconciliations invoicing and credit memos.
- Other special projects and tasks as deemed necessary.
Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- Organized with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Motivated with a drive for process improvements.
- Solid communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proficient user in MS Office especially Excel spreadsheets.
Also want to make sure you have
- Associates degree in accounting preferred.
- Minimum 6 years relevant experience in credit and collections accounts receivable or related field required.
