MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center is looking for a Locum Hematologist Oncologist to fill their need!Schedule:Patient Contact Hours: VariableSchedule: Mon-Thurs (most likely)Shifts per month: 16Shift length: 8 hoursClinic hours: 0800-1630On Call: potentially one week and one weekend per month. Phone calls only. Details:Inpatient Responsibilities: yes MO Cedar Falls Medical Center - Very infrequent that you would need to go to the hospital for a admit all patients. Physicians typically just field phone calls from hospitalists. Outreach: NoTelehealth: NoJob Responsibilities: Consults follow up care oversee administration of antineoplastics in the clinic. Number of Advanced Practice Provider: 2Supervision of APP expected: NoNursing Support Ratio: 2 nurses /1 provider along with referral and triage nursesAncillary Staff per provider: Reception lab social worker referrals dieticianServices offered in the practice: Antineoplastics phlebotomies IV IgG iron therapy bone marrow of exam room: 4Medical Imaging: YesLab & Pharmacy: YesClinic Provider Daily Volume: 16-20Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 0-2Appointment length: This can be adjusted to the provider- 15/20 fu and 60 consults Patient Demographics: 18 years and older. EMR: EPICTeaching Opportunity: Yes
