Our Organization and Mission:
The Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco licenses the manufacture distribution sale and service of alcoholic beverage and tobacco products in Florida including receipt and processing of license applications; collection and auditing of taxes and fees paid by licensees; and enforcement of the laws and regulation of the alcoholic beverage and tobacco industries pursuant to ChaptersFlorida Statutes. The divisions three bureaus - Licensing Auditing and Enforcement - comprise a team of approximately 325 personnel fulfilling the regulatory obligations of the division throughout the state.
The Work You Will Do:
This is a Career Service technical professional position assigned to the Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco Directors Office. This position will be coordinating division activities including public records function licensing modernization initiatives special project and efforts to improve division efficiency in support of the divisions legislatively mandated responsibilities. Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of Microsoft programs. Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis. Knowledge of basic management principles and practices including the ability to collect evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations solve problems document workflow and other activities relating to the improvement of management practices. Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports documents and other written materials. Ability to conduct fact-finding research ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
