Global Outlet Planning Manager - Global Outlet Merchandising (m/f/d)
HUGO BOSS AG Metzingen near Stuttgart Germany Full-time/Part-time

As a Global Outlet Planner (m/f/d) you are responsible for end-to-end planning and steering of the BASIC and FASHION business across all Business Units. You will translate market needs and strategic targets into robust net sales demand and inventory plans and act as a key interface between Regions Hubs Product Divisions and central functions. This position is limited to a fixed term.

What you can expect:
  • Merchandise & Financial Planning
    • Develop and manage seasonal sales margin and inventory plans for the outlet channel in alignment with the financial targets
    • Drive planning at store level down to product group for dedicated Main Product Groups (MPGs) across all Business Units.
    • Monitor performance versus plan and proactively adjust forecasts and intake plan
  • Seasonal & Lifecycle Management
    • Manage full product lifecycle planning for the BASIC Assortment incl. exit strategies
    • Consider all retail-relevant KPIs (e.g. Net Sales TPRs Coverage) to optimize the BASIC business.
    • Lead BASIC store planning including the definition of model stock based on core range.
  • Demand Forecasting EMEA
    • Consolidate market needs and channel requirements for BASIC and FASHION.
    • Analyze evaluate and finalize the production plan for BASIC for all Business Units.
    • Translate the Net Sales plan for FASHION into a robust demand plan.
  • Inventory & Assortment Management
    • Drive inventory productivity through effective demand forecasting inventory flow and stock optimization
    • Partner closely with Buying Allocation and Supply Chain teams to ensure the right product quantity and timing for outlet stores
    • Monitor stock aging exit strategies and markdown efficiency to maximize sell-through and margin
  • Performance Management & Analytics
    • Analyze weekly monthly and seasonal performance across regions and categories
    • Identify risks and opportunities and proactively recommend corrective actions
    • Lead post-season analysis and translate insights into future planning improvements
  • Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration
    • Build and maintain strong relationships and continuous communication with Regions Hubs and Product Divisions.
    • Act as a key partner for the Global Outlet Buying Team Regional Merchandise Management IT Procurement & Logistics GSO and all Business Units.
  • Tools Processes & Continuous Improvement
    • Own and continuously improve planning tools systems and reporting standards
    • Drive automation data accuracy and transparency in planning processes
    • Support system implementations and global transformation initiatives

Your profile:
  • University degree in Business Administration Economics Supply Chain Management Retail Management or a comparable field.
  • Several years of relevant experience in planning merchandising demand forecasting or inventory management ideally in a retail or fashion environment.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to anticipate and assess impacts on company KPIs such as inventory complexity & efficiency and profitability.
  • Experience in change management; able to drive implement and support process changes across interfaces.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills with a high affinity for numbers and data.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office especially Excel (e.g. complex formulas pivots reporting).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and regions.
  • High proficiency in planning tools and Excel; experience with planning systems (e.g. SAP o9 Blue Yonder Oracle) is a plus
  • Excellent English skills both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
