Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
Operate CVD and high-vacuum systems for semiconductor growth.
Develop and optimise growth processes based on experimental and characterisation results.
Perform wafer characterisation using optical microscopy AFM CV Hall and XRD.
Plan execute and troubleshoot experiments and equipment issues.
Perform and oversee routine and preventive maintenance of laboratory tools.
Manage laboratory procurement vendors and consumables.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations SOPs and institutional requirements.
Prepare technical reports and contribute to proposals and publications.
Provide technical guidance to research assistants and junior staff.
Job Requirements:
Masters degree or bachelors degree with relevant research or industry experience in Electrical Engineering Materials Science Physics or a closely related discipline
Demonstrated hands-on experience (typically 1 3 years) in semiconductor research epitaxial growth or advanced materials processing.
Proven ability to independently operate troubleshoot and optimize CVD-based systems such as MOCVD or MBE is advantageous
Experience with advanced material and electrical characterization tools including AFM XRD CV and Hall measurements.
Ability to plan and execute experiments with minimal supervision interpret results and implement process improvements.
Experience in laboratory safety compliance SOP implementation and safe handling of hazardous materials and gases.
Strong technical documentation skills including preparation of detailed reports experimental summaries and project deliverables.
