The Rotational Finance Leadership program is committed to growing GE Vernovas high potential talent-people with a passion for technology a drive for technical excellence professional skills and GE Vernova values-by accelerating their development through intense technical training and a variety of business critical assignments.
The Financial Management Program (FMP) is an elite early career leadership program dedicated to local Malaysians who are fresh graduates or with below 2 years of work experiences. This is open to current GEV employees and external applicants.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Complete four six-month rotations (2 years) at GE Vernova paired with formal classroom studies and global leadership trainings.
- Train in GEVs core finance competencies to earn diverse on-the-job experiences: Commercial Finance Supply Chain Finance Financial Planning & Analysis Project Finance & Controllership.
- Partners with teams from within the business unit to specify needs communicates about project approach and presents outcomes.
- Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Contributes to a wide variety of projects and assignments to grow leadership skills business acumen and technical skills.
- Works within a team setting and / or under guidance from Assignment Manager.
- A job at this level requires good social skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. For customer facing roles develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE Vernova. Explains technical information to others.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business Accounting Finance or related field with CGPA of at least 3.0 and above
- Proficient with SAP/PMX/Oracle systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word and Power point)
- Fast learner resourceful and curious
- Previous internship experiences in Commercial Finance Supply Chain Finance Financial Planning & Analysis Project Finance & Controllership or similar roles are preferred.
- Fresh graduates with internship experience or applicants up to 2 years (max) working experience in Commercial Finance Supply Chain Finance Financial Planning & Analysis Project Finance & Controllership or similar roles
- Local Malaysian or have legal authorization to work in Malaysia

- Interested in developing Corporate Finance career
- Strong English oral and written communication skills
- Strong social and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
