What Youll Do
As a High Explosives (HE) Manufacturing Engineer the candidate will be the Subject Matter Expert on HE component manufacturing processes. This individual will be part of a team that is responsible for developingmaintaining and improving processes and procedures for the manufacturing of HE components and the associated surveillance and gauging of HE components. This individual will serve as a liaison between the Design Agencies and Pantex for the development of processes and components and will also work with technicians and programmers in the work areas to incorporate their input into the process. Additionally this position may have arole in the installation of additive manufacturing equipment and the development of the associated processes.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in engineering/science discipline
- OR a Masters Degree in engineering/science discipline

Preferred Job Requirements
- Knowledge of procedure writing and a general understanding of the Unreviewed Safety Question (USQ) Process
- The ability to understand high explosive manufacturing processes to support new production and surveillance activities
- Experience working the Design Agencies and familiarity with common documentation requirements with the Design Agencies
- Experience with additive manufacturing processes and equipment
- Bachelors Degree in engineering or a related field from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program in the United States or designated equivalents thru ABET Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRA)
- Bachelors Degree in science
- A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) is preferred for up to four years post-graduation confirmed by transcript at the time of offer. Beyond four years from graduation relevant experience will supersede GPA in hiring considerations
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA
- Masters Degree with a minimum 3.3/4.0 cumulative GPA
- PhD with a minimum 3.5/4.0 cumulative GPA
