• Team Leadership: Oversee the selection training evaluation and discipline of Nurses CNAs and Medical Assistants ensuring a cohesive and skilled healthcare team.
• Parent Communication: Respond to parent inquiries promptly and professionally maintaining transparent and effective communication.
• Station Management: Monitor the Nurses Station for cleanliness and safety creating a conducive environment for medical care.
• Collaborative Contribution: Actively participate in weekly interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings providing valuable insights and updates.
• Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to reports of pain or sickness assess students and make informed decisions on necessary actions.
• Health Assessment: Determine when a student requires placement on sick bed due to illness or pain prioritizing their well-being.
• Medical Accompaniment: Accompany students to medical appointments effectively communicating findings and updates to parents.
• Vital Sign Monitoring: Check vital signs and weight of students as assigned ensuring accurate and consistent healthcare documentation.
• Medication Administration: Accurately dispense student medications meticulously recording details in the Medication Administration Record.
• Narcotics Oversight: Count and track narcotics every shift maintaining a stringent and secure medication management system.
• Behavioral Monitoring: Monitor students mood behavior and affect particularly during new medication introductions and document findings.
• Lab Coordination: Correlate lab draws for students contributing to comprehensive healthcare records.
• Medical Communication: Effectively communicate pertinent medical information to the Treatment Team and Psychiatrist facilitating collaborative patient care.

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Active RN licensein the state of Utah
• 3 years of nursing experience including experiencein psychiatric/mental health
• 1 year of leadership or Embark Nursing experience.
• CAQH profile and NPI number (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication organizational and crisis management skills
• A heart for adolescents and a commitment to trauma-informed care
