Certified Collectibles Group is seeking a Senior Human Resources Advisor to join our growing team in Shanghai. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer at our US Headquarters you will serve as the primary HR representative for our China legal entity ensuring compliant consistent and efficient implementation of HR processes in line with PRC labor laws and local regulations.

This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys hands-on operational work employee advisory responsibilities and acting as a trusted partner to managers. As the local HR expert you will support employees throughout the full employment lifecycle manage labor law compliance and collaborate closely with global HR teams to implement corporate programs in a locally compliant manner while supporting the continued growth of our China operational work employee advisory responsibilities and acting as a trusted partner to managers. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
  • Implement and manage HR processes across the full employee lifecycle including openterm and fixedterm contracts probation onboarding contract amendments and offboarding in compliance with PRC labor law
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies employment contracts working conditions internal rules and statutory benefits
  • Administer local working hour arrangements time and attendance tracking leave management and overtime practices in line with applicable legal requirements
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing including individual income tax social insurance and housing fund contributions
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team to support local recruitment activities including job postings interview coordination offer preparation and compliant employment documentation
  • Maintain accurate complete and legally compliant employee files and HR system records including labor contracts internal policies acknowledgements and statutory documentation
  • Support the localization and rollout of global HR programs and initiatives (e.g. performance management talent development engagement surveys) ensuring alignment with PRC legal and cultural requirements
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with PRC labor laws local municipal regulations and internal corporate policies proactively identifying and mitigating HR and employment risk
  • Provide guidance and practical solutions to managers on employee relations matters such as performance management discipline investigations workplace disputes and terminations
  • Analyze HR data trends and employee feedback to identify opportunities to improve engagement retention and operational effectiveness
  • Act as a culture ambassador by promoting company values ethical conduct and a respectful inclusive workplace environment
WHAT MAKES YOU THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Law Psychology or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Several years of progressive HR experience in China preferably in a generalist or senior HR advisory role within a multinational organization
  • Strong handson knowledge of PRC labor law and employment practices including labor contracts working hour systems social insurance and employee relations
  • Proven ability to work independently as the local HR representative while effectively collaborating with regional and global stakeholders
  • Strong advisory communication and conflictresolution skills with a pragmatic businessoriented mindset
  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English both written and spoken
  • High level of integrity discretion cultural sensitivity and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive employment matters
