Manufacturing Engineering role for industry leading MRI technology.
Your role:
- This role is a production support role for large industrial superconducting MRI magnets.
- This role interfaces with production management quality engineering design engineering supplier quality engineering and production technicians.
- This role is an opportunity to develop a wide range of engineering skills in a medical device environment.
Youre the right fit if:
- Youve acquired 2 years of experience in manufacturing with medical device manufacturing preferred.
- Your skills include root cause analysis of production process failures troubleshooting production equipment issues process validation documentation including PFMEA IQ TMV OQ/PQ statistical analysis of process data tooling and fixture design experience understanding of geometric dimension and tolerancing on mechanical drawings.
- You have a bachelors degree in engineering; Mechanical Electrical Biomedical preferred
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- Youre a self-motivated driven engineer with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Great written and oral communication skills are a requirement.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
This is an onsite role.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in New York is $95250 to $152400 per year.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills experience business needs geographical location and internal equity.
In addition other compensation such as an annual incentive bonus sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
