Position: Manufacturing Associate / Assembler II
Location: Fort Collins CO - 80524
Duration: 3 Months - Possibility to convert or extend
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Onsite
Shift: Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM
Summary:
This position is located in Fort Collins Colorado. The team is committed to providing scientists with groundbreaking and high-quality instrumentation and values an outstanding this role you will work with a team to produce flow cytometry instruments and support material handling and assembly work in the production process.
Responsibilities
- Follow written work instructions to build electromechanical fluidic and optical assemblies.
- Work with hand tools test equipment and computer software to build test and troubleshoot.
- Work with the manufacturing team and engineering to improve procedures or designs to reduce assembly and test time.
- Produce high-quality work with attention to detail.
- Receive and stock material accurately with attention to quality and accuracy.
- Be part of a hands-on creative self-willed self-motivated flexible and dynamic team.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area that supports co-workers as well as safety efficiency quality and customer demands.
Required Skills
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 3 years assembling high precision products or experience with a similar skill set.
- Strong mechanical proficiency.
- Experience operating a forklift is a plus but not required.
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results.
- Ability to communicate well with the team ask questions and learn quickly.
- Able to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Proven troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable navigating multiple software applications.
- Physical requirements Standing bending reaching and handling bulky parts is common to the job.
- Exposed to potential hazards including pinch points fall hazards chemical exposure and general safety issues associated with manufacturing. Works in hot cold dusty elevated and noisy areas.
