About the Role
We have multiple vacancies for Starting Well Receptionists to join our team providing a reliable high-quality front-of-house and administrative service across our centres. This is an exciting opportunity to support families and children by ensuring our centres run smoothly and efficiently.
Locations & Working Hours
- MyPlace Centre:
- Shift work between 8:30am 10:00pm (on a rota basis).
- Childrens Centres:
- Core hours 8:45am 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
- Flexibility is essential as you may be required to travel across multiple locations within the borough.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide reception and administrative support across operational centres.
- Respond to customer queries in person by phone and via email.
- Maintain accurate records and operate booking/till systems.
- Support building operations including reporting repairs and health & safety checks.
- Assist with diary management and bookings for centre activities.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding confidentiality GDPR and health & safety standards.
What Were Looking For
- Strong communication skills and a professional welcoming approach.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
- Flexible and adaptable to work across different sites and outside normal office hours when required.
