Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY

This position leads automation and cost analysis efforts within Operations Accounting; strengthening tools dashboards and processes that improve insight and decision-making. It partners with Manufacturing and other teams to analyze cost drivers and variances. The role also provides key accounting supportincluding cost modeling audit assistance SAP location setup and monitoring cost performance.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive):

  • Lead the advancement of automation within Operations Accounting by driving strategic initiatives and strengthening the tools that support them including the development and continuous improvement of analytical dashboards in partnership with BI teams change management of any SAP enhancements in the CO module development maintenance and improvement of OneStream applications around budget and actual cost and championing the use of AI in both transactional and reporting or analytical work flows.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and other cross functional partners to analyze cost drivers and variances providing comprehensive cost analysis and reporting/modeling that delivers actionable insights and supports informed decision-making for both operational and leadership teams.
  • Provide tactical accounting support including but not limited to:
  • Modeling cost data as requested for what if scenarios
  • Set up new locations in SAP as necessary and coordinate all testing for new locations
  • Provide data for external auditors at mid-year and year end audit cycles
  • Monitor and evaluate cost performance against standards recommending adjustments or recosting as needed to maintain financial integrity
  • Annual budget cycle support
  • Supervise a small team and foster a culture of continuous learning focused on automation analytics and strong controls.
  • Take personal responsibility to do what is possible within the scope of the position to safeguard the companys assets limit the companys exposure to risks and help ensure the attainment of the companys operating and financial goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

  • BS/BA in Accounting Finance or Business; 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and across teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
  • Advanced degree or CPA/CMA a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills; Access or Power BI experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate a developing knowledge of modern data and analytics capabilities including automation tools and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to understand and articulate the art of the possible in dataâdriven operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn adopt and apply new technologies to improve processes and insights.
  • Comfortable working with SAP enhancements BI dashboards OneStream and AIâenabled workflows.

Competitive Salary with a general salary range of $111740.00 to $139680.00 or higher depending on education and experience.
