Job Duties

The Virginia Department of Veteran Services is seeking a part-time Procurement Assistant. This position Will be responsible for using an agency issued Small Purchase charge card SPCC for payment of invoices in a high-volume environment. SPCC payments will be made for orders self-entered and for orders entered and placed by other divisions. Will coordinate with other divisions to obtain supporting documents when paying their invoices. Will coordinate with ordering division staff from time of requisition entry purchase order receipt and payment.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have experience with Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to lift move and organize office supplies as needed
Ability to effectively document meeting discussions and action items
Experience with Purchase card and entering invoices

Additional Considerations

Experience with the eVA procurement system & SPCC desired. VCA certification desired but not required.
