SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the charge nurse provides direct patient care in the Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation department by assisting and/or providing for residents in the essential activities of daily living. Communicate with charge nurse(s) and other staff about residents condition including responding quickly and accurately to requests for assistance from residents and nurses. Must participate in quality teams as assigned and be knowledgeable in all resident care plans as well as the policies and procedures of the facility
Duties:
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of Nurse Aide training and competency evaluation program (NATCEP).
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Current Texas CNA certification and current CPR certification required. Must maintain current certifications at all times.
