About the role

The London Borough of Barnet is looking for an experienced and forwardthinking Head of Systems Finance & HR to lead the strategic development governance and continuous improvement of our Oracle Cloud Fusion system.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for ensuring our Oracle Cloud Fusion system delivers maximum value for the organisation supports robust financial and workforce management and enables datadriven decisionmaking across the council.

You will be the councils professional lead for finance and HR systems working closely with senior stakeholders IT colleagues external suppliers and service leaders to ensure our systems are secure efficient compliant and futureready.

About you

You will be a confident systems leader with strong experience in ERP environments and a deep understanding of finance and HR processes ideally within a complex public sector organisation.

You will bring:

Membership of a CCAB body (preferably CIPFA) or equivalent professional experience
Significant experience leading and maintaining a robust ERP control environment
Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion or a comparable ERP suite
Proven experience of systems integration modernisation and change management
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills able to engage both technical and nontechnical audiences
Experience leading teams managing budgets and delivering complex projects
A collaborative inclusive leadership style aligned with Barnets values
