Why Your Role Matters:
The Senior Project Officer will play a key role within the School of Health Sciences Faculty of Medicine and Health providing high-level project management and operational support to the research team delivering the Scalable Allied Health and General Practice responses to Long-COVID in primary care (SAGE) trial. This project is funded by the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) and focuses on improving primary care responses for individuals experiencing Post-Acute Sequelae of COVID-19 (Long COVID).
Reporting to the Chief Investigator Dr Carolina Sandler the Senior Project Officer will be responsible for supporting the implementation coordination and delivery of primary carebased research projects. The role involves managing project planning reporting and analysis; preparing and maintaining key research documentation; coordinating ethics and governance processes; and supporting data collection activities in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
The Senior Project Officer works closely with internal and external stakeholders including participating institutions general practice sites community-based health professionals and funding bodies to ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and in accordance with governance confidentiality and quality requirements. The role has no direct reports and requires a high degree of initiative strong organisational skills and the ability to manage complex research activities across multiple stakeholders.
