Description:

The Lake Technical College Career Advisor AE position provides highly organized and motivated support to the Adult Education Department. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations assisting with communication scheduling marketing planning and various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs related student support and administrative duties as assigned in support of program operations and student success.
• Assists with student and instructor communication. Provides student support to individuals with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds; utilizes translation tools or support services as appropriate. Assists AE students in resolving routine issues related to enrollment scheduling documentation and program participation escalating complex concerns as needed.
• Manage scheduling for meetings events and other departmental activities. Provides support during peak enrollment periods testing sessions orientations and special events as needed.

- Creates and maintains spreadsheets reports and marketing materials.

- Perform general administrative duties to support the department.

• Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and occasional weekends based on program needs.
• Occasional proctoring of standardized and program-required assessments in accordance with testing policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bilingual (Preferred - English & Spanish)

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Solid work ethic and ability to multitask

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new task
