Job Summary
SPECIAL EDUCATION EXTENDED YEAR PROGRAM ELE TEACHERS Elementary (4) ELE TEACHERS Secondary (4) * Must be MA DESE Certified Salary: $35.00/Hour (for hours worked). Dates/Hours: July 6 July 30 2026 Monday Thursdays at JFK Middle School 8:30 a.m. 12:00 p.m. - 3.5 Hours/DayProgram Description: Multilingual students rising grade 1 - 12 who are identified in the the districts English Learner Education Program. Teacher Description: ELE summer teachers must have experience teaching diverse learners be able to attend all days of the summer program attend a mandatory 2 hour training prior to the program and follow a scope and sequence from Scholastic Lit. / Math camp. ELE teachers will be provided with curriculum materials and must plan for their instruction based on varying English language proficiency levels of students. Collaboration and effective classroom management skills. This will include additional time for a summer program meeting and prep (date to be determined).If Hired: Must have acceptable MA CORI and SAFIS Fingerprint Background Checks prior to start of :There are no benefits with this temporary summer position.
