Job Summary
SPECIAL EDUCATION EXTENDED YEAR PROGRAM EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHERS * Must be MA DESE Certified Salary: $35.00/Hour (for hours worked). Dates/Hours: July 6 July 30 2026 Monday Thursdays at JFK Middle School 8:30 a.m. 12:00 p.m. - 3.5 Hours/DayJob Summary: The Special Education Teacher for the Extended Year Program (EYP) will provide essential instructional support to students who have been identified as eligible for additional services over the summer. The primary goal of this position is to prevent academic and developmental regression during the summer break as specified in each students Individualized Education Plan (IEP).Key Responsibilities:* Deliver targeted instruction and support based on the specific goals and objectives outlined in each students Individualized Education Plan (IEP).* Lead instructional activities for students during the summer session to help maintain their progress and prevent regression.* Maintain a safe and productive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students in the will include additional time for an in-person summer program meeting and prep (date to be determined). If Hired: Must have acceptable MA CORI and SAFIS Fingerprint Background Checks prior to start of :There are no benefits with this temporary summer position.
