Job Summary

Alliance for Empowerment is seeking a dynamic fulltime Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to join our executive leadership team. This is a full-time exempt position. The compensation ranges from per year.

We are looking for an inspiring strategic HR leader to shape the future of our workforce and champion organizational development across Alliance and its network agencies.
About the Role:
As our CHRO youll oversee the full spectrum of human resources functions including talent acquisition employee relations performance management and benefits administration. You will design and execute forwardthinking HR strategies that align with organizational goals ensure compliance with employment and labor regulations and foster a culture rooted in safety accountability and addition to the CHRO the HR Department includes a Director of HR two HR Generalists and an HR Assistant.
Your leadership will play a critical role in strengthening workforce stability enhancing operational effectiveness and driving lasting organizational success.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Directors and managers to interpret employment standards promote employee engagement and facilitate person-centered performance and retention.
  • Supervises the Director of HR and provides oversight and guidance in combination with the Director to the entire HR team.
  • Counsel and advise CEO Directors and managers regarding employee relations disciplinary matters and performance management.
  • Collaborate with Alliance Executive Team in provision of analysis problem solving and future planning surrounding workforce recruitment and retention for member organizations.
  • Oversee assigned network organizations performance review processes.
  • Create and maintain compliance auditing systems of human resource functions..
  • Represents network organizations proceedings related to unemployment insurance Division of Human Rights or EEOC complaints or in other such legal matters.
  • Functions as liaison with legal counsel in matters relative to clarification of human resource standards.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits
  • Oversee the coordination and administration of employee leave situations
  • Analyze compensation trends and salary data to maintain market salary ranges for all positions
  • Oversee recruiting process ensuring timely and appropriate filling of open positions.
  • Provide guidance and input on organizational and departmental restructures workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Participates in and advises the design of work plans related to workforce and staff development objectives
  • Conduct and provide analysis for periodic employee engagement surveys.
  • Ensures the development maintenance and audit job descriptions for all positions
  • Ensure accuracy organization and confidentiality of personnel and benefits records in compliance with EEO and HR procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure network organizations compliance with federal and state laws and regulations relating to human resources matters.
  • Develop recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures and maintain and update employee handbook.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related filed is required. Masters degree in Human Resource Management or similar field preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a human resources generalist position with a minimum of three (3) years involving the management of others.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of HR principles practices and regulations with the ability to apply them effectively in a variety of business contexts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems such as ADP Paylocity Paychex and other relevant HR technology tools.
  • HR certification (e.g. PHR SPHR SHRM-CP SHRM-SCP) preferred but not required.
