Job Summary
The Busser assists Floor & Cocktail Servers in steps of guest service and resets tables in a speedy professional and effective manner. Interacts with the dining room/lounge guests fellow team members and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONSOFTHEPOSITIONINCLUDEBUTARENOTLIMITEDTO:
Anticipateandaccommodatetheneedsoftheguests.
Maintainthegeneralcleanlinessandorderlinessofthetables.
CommunicatestheneedsofthegueststoFront-of-HouseandHeart-of-Housesupportstaffserversmanagersand chefs.
Deliverfillandre-fillwaterasrequestedbyguestsand/ordirectedbyservers.
Clearsandresetstablesandcleanstableareaincludingbanquettesduringservice.
Helpsensureguestsatisfactionthroughactiveparticipationinservice.
Maintaingeneralcleanlinessofstationsandtheentirevenue.
ComplieswithDepartmentofHealthandcompanysanitationstandards.
Properlysets-upfloorandsidestationsperformsside-workandotheropening/closingproceduresasdirectedby management including:
Responsibleformakingsurealltablesandchairs/banquettesarecleanandfreeofdebris
Setstableswithpropersettings
Wipesdownchairstablesandbanquettes
Stocksside-stationswithprescribedsupplies
Performsopeningside-workasprescribed
Performsclosingside-workasprescribed
Participatesinwhenavailablemarkingtablesforupcomingcourses(appsentreesdesserts).
Reportsallbreakageanddamageofequipmentorfurnitureimmediatelytomanagement.
Attendsandparticipatesindailypre-servicemeetings.
Attendsandparticipatesinanytrainingsessionsordepartmentalmeetings.
Learnbylisteningobservingotherteammembersandsharingknowledgewhileleadingbyexample.
Portraysapositiveandprofessionalattitude.
