Job Summary
Commissionaires BC is looking for security guards to join our casual on call Reserves Division team working in Vancouver.
Shifts will vary in location and times so flexibility in availability would be preferred.
Pay rate: from $23 per hour (will vary per site)
Your Must-Haves:
Commissionaires BC is a Canadian not-for-profit security/enforcement organization that has been in business since 1927. Our mandate is to give back to those who served and continue to serve in our communities and country.Commissionaires provides security services for over 200 sites and are located in over 110 communities across the province. Our client base runs from the Federal Government to local municipalities airports industrial sectors and commercial/residential c entreproviding valued customer service to the public.
Shifts will vary in location and times so flexibility in availability would be preferred.

Your Must-Haves:
- BC Security License
- Hold OFA 2/Intermediate First Aid
- Lived in Canada for 5 yearsfor clearance purposes
- Availability to work at a variety of sites and locations
- Excellent communication skills
- Patrolling various sites/locations
- Offering first class customer service to both clients and general public
- Mobile patrolling/ticketing
- Access Control
- CCTV Monitoring
- Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
- Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
- Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
