About the Role:
The Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for all utility operations including generation transmission distribution engineering customer billing and business administration. Reporting directly to the CEO of Naka Power Utilities (NWT) this role combines operational oversight with strategic planning and financial stewardship. The Manager ensures safe reliable and cost-effective service delivery drives modernization initiatives and providessenior management-level input on company strategy and risk management.

Naka Power Utilities (NWT) (Naka) is a partnership between ATCO Ltd. and Denendeh Investments Inc.(DII) representing 27 Dene First Nations across the Northwest Territories. Naka has been providing safe reliable electricity to communities across the Northwest Territories for over 70 years. Rooted in the land and powered by the people we are a regulated utility serving Yellowknife NDilo and several remote communities from our Hay River and Yellowknife offices. Through Indigenous partnership community connection and transparent operations Naka plays a vital role in keeping the North connected while supporting a responsible and sustainable energy future.
