Wisestamp | DevOps Engineer

You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between development and operations ensuring the reliability scalability and performance of our core services. This is a critical role that involves shaping our infrastructure strategy automating everything and elevating our CI/CD processes to the next level. Responsibilities:

• Design implement and maintain robust scalable and cost-effective cloud infrastructure with a strong preference for GCP.
• Drive automation across the organization provisioning infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools primarily Terraform.
• Develop enhance and manage our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing tools like GitHub Actions to ensure fast reliable delivery.
• Manage and optimize our containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Own and optimize comprehensive monitoring logging and alerting systems to achieve high observability and system uptime.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize application performance diagnose and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Champion security best practices ensuring they are implemented and rigorously maintained across all infrastructure layers (DevSecOps).

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in a DevOps Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or similar highly technical infrastructure role.
• Proven expertise with at least one major cloud provider (AWS GCP or Azure).
• Strong scripting skills (e.g. Python Bash) for system automation.
• Expertise in infrastructure automation tools (e.g. Terraform).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts load balancing and cloud security principles.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Advantages:

• Familiarity with serverless architectures and managed services.
• Experience implementing and managing advanced Observability platforms.
• Previous experience leading technical initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools.
