Job Summary
Job Description: Data Analyst at Baptist Health
Job Responsibilities:
- Collect and interpret data to analyze results and identify trends or patterns
- Develop and implement databases data collection systems data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports printouts and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Essential Qualifications:
- Degree in Data Science Statistics Mathematics Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Data Analyst or related position
- Technical expertise regarding data models database design development data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organize analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis
- Experience with statistical software (e.g. R Python SAS)
- Experience working in the healthcare industry is a plus
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary range: $58000 - $83000 per year
