We are a section dedicated to design verification and automation within the Texas Materials and Processes department. We support several large factories that produce components for the defense industry we also support internal research and development programs funded by our customers and Raytheon.

What You Will Do

• Responsibilities include all aspects of the automated solution being deployed.
• Mechanical design from concept to model / drawing completion for moderate to high complexity required.
• Ability to work and support projects with minimal supervision.
• Manage small projects with the design obtaining quotes make versus buy decisions for fabrication and assembly while managing budget assigned and adhering to schedule.
• Design automation solutions specification of robotics PLCs sensors thermal management design and temperature monitoring.
• Expected to troubleshoot maintain and repair deployed automation solutions Ability to run the software and make adjustments to recover from errors.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Experience using PTCs CREO 3 D CAD tool.
• Experience working with robotics
• Experience troubleshooting complex mechanisms

The salary range for this role is 57200 USD - 108800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
