Superior Skilled Trades is hiring a licensed Mechanical Engineer (P.E.) for a full-time direct hire opportunity with a design/build mechanical contractor in Bloomington MN. This role focuses on leading the design and engineering of HVAC plumbing and mechanical systems for commercial and industrial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design of HVAC plumbing and mechanical systems
Develop drawings specifications and technical reports
Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards
Collaborate with project managers architects and construction teams
Review shop drawings and support change order processes
Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
10 years of mechanical engineering experience in construction
Experience designing HVAC and mechanical systems
Proficiency with AutoCAD Revit and Excel
Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
