Job Summary
COLSA Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler in Huntsville AL to support our uncrewed systems this role you will play a key part in coordinating production planning material readiness and manufacturing execution to support the build and delivery of advanced aerial platforms.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions):
- Development and management of manufacturing bills of material for multiple platforms*
- Development of manufacturing processes and procedures*
- Create release and manage work orders in the ERP/MRP system*
- Sequence and prioritize production jobs to meet customer and program requirements*
- Manage kitting staging and material availability for production orders*
- Work instruction development and maintenance*
- Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely delivery of materials*
- Performs assembly of mechanical and electrical drones and buildup of assemblies & subassemblies
- Participates in Preliminary Design Reviews Production Readiness Reviews and Post-Production Reviews*
- Technical liaison between engineering and manufacturing*
- Assists with inventory management activities*
- Manages supplies and equipment for the team*
- Assist with the development of a Master Production Schedule
- Make vs. Buy analysis on all components across all platforms*
