We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Payroll Specialist to join our team based in Malelane Mpumalanga. - Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll
- Capture and maintain accurate employee payroll information
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant labor legislation
- Process statutory deductions (PAYE UIF etc.)
- Assist with leave administration and employee benefits administration
- Handle payroll queries in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll information
- Support the finance department with related administrative tasks
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting Finance Human Resources or a related field
- No prior work experience required
- Basic understanding of payroll principles and labor legislation (advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
