Location: Newark NY 14513
Shift: Mid Shift 5x8-Hour (2:00 PM 10:00 PM)
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Extension: High possibility based on performance and facility needs
Compensation
Travel Rate: $35$38/hour (based on experience)
Local Rate: $32/hour
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support patients in a Behavioral Health setting in Newark NY. This opportunity is within a long-term care environment and is ideal for a compassionate patient-focused nurse committed to delivering high-quality behavioral health care.
This is a 13-week contract assignment with strong potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
Plan implement and document patient-centered nursing care
Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Prioritize and deliver nursing interventions aligned with best practices
Provide therapeutic nursing care and monitor patient conditions
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
Promote evidence-based nursing practices and continuous quality improvement
Maintain compliance with all health safety and infection control regulations
Perform additional duties as assigned
Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an LPN in a Behavioral Health setting
Licenses & Certifications (Required Prior to Start)
Valid New York State LPN license
BLS Certification (American Heart Association required)
