The Role
Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services & LV) Rail North Sydney
SMEC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Rail team in North Sydney. If you bring strong Building Services and Low Voltage (LV) expertise this is your opportunity to lead the design and delivery of major rail projects across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver building services & LV electrical systems
- Produce drawings reports specifications and tender packages
- Undertake feasibility studies load calculations and site inspections
- Review designs to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements
- Support tender submissions and technical documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-time coordinated delivery
About You
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 6 years experience in electrical design
- Proven experience in building services & low voltage projects
- Background in a design consultancy environment
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing project delivery and budgets
- CPEng (or working towards chartership)
- Experience with a TAO-authorised consultancy
- Exposure to multi-disciplinary coordination
